adminMost local police will be able to offer a security survey or sweep of your house. They will usually send a security expert to come to your house, walk around the grounds with the owner, point out vulnerable areas and give you tips to better your home security. If they are busy or do not offer that type of service, they will probably give you booklets and papers on how you could do it yourself. Put yourself in a burglar's shoes. Where would you most likely break into your house? Circle your house a few times to make sure you don't miss anything important. Afterwards, start making your decisions on making your house more burglar-proof.
